Response to the fall ASPIRE Welcome meeting on Tuesday, September 14 was incredible!  The attendance has grown steadily from the 10 or so students who attended in 2008, to 30 or so students who attended in 2009 to  more than 80 students who crowded into Sharp Lab Room 123 for the 2010 opening meeting.

The ASPIRE leaders expected a decent turnout, and they were prepared with explanatory handouts, icebreakers to get the students talking to each other, powerpoint slides to explain the ASPIRE mission and activities, and best of all, the leaders asked  students to suggest new service ideas and learning experiences.  The group discussed many great potential projects and activities…so stay tuned…ASPIRE is off and running in the 2010-11 academic year!
