Integrating the Arts

At their October 5th meeting, ASPIRE members learned about the work of the ArtsBridge project.  ArtsBridge scholars, including ASPIRE officer, Amber Beaman, reported on work done last summer with middle school students in Wilmington to teach science and math concepts through music, visual art, and dance. 

The meeting highlight was definitely the “hands-on” opportunity to create a little ASPIRE Art…members started with brand new ASPIRE t-shirts and were last seen having a great time “tying” and “dying!”
